I love the question you pose..."how do you stay in the present"? I have spent a few moments pondering and wanted to quickly share.

Sincerely,
Molly Massey

My first second of pondering I actually chuckled out loud because I used to take yoga to attempt to stay in the present if only for three minutes of my sixty minute class. It was only on November 21, 2007 when I was blessed with the birth of our son that I truly began my journey of living in the present. Don't get me wrong, there are still moments that I catch myself drifting but within seconds Pressley brings me right back. Sometimes he brings me back with a touch on my hand as if to say, "mommy pay attention". Other times, and most often, it is making certain he is not getting into mischief! I can frequently be observed saying,"Press no touch, Press be careful, Press be gentle with your puppy". Instead of allowing these moments to frustrate me I stop what I'm doing when ever possible and participate with Pressley. Not only am I richer for the experience, but I am constantly reminded of how abundant and present love always is! What an amazing discovery!

That is me..using my senses I am appreciating God'...

That is me..using my senses I am appreciating God's world through them, as much as possible..listening to the wind, seeing the sunsets and smelling the new spring flowers..

Maybe the present was exactly where

My problem with staying in the present is that I tend to stay too much in the past. My plan is to re-read this chapter until I can truly understand the message of living in the present.

What I do struggle with is having the peace and passion of Christ in my soul.
